The Top 10 Things to do in Brisbane with Kids, among the many things that Brisbane does really well is cater for kids without having to spend a lot of money. Luckily, our city has loads of places dedicated to their entertainment, amusement and sometimes subtle education.

Make sure you visit one of my Top Ten featured venues. Pack a hat, sunscreen and some snacks and make a day of it with your Brisbane Kids and don’t forget your Camera. So you can capture all the special family moments.

1. Wivenhoe Dam –

Wivenhoe is extremely good for fishing, boating, camping, picnics and swimming. Has picnic area with parking available and features: electric barbecues, wood barbecues, toilet facilities, shelter sheds, picnic tables Walking trail and koala spotting.

Children’s activities feature throughout exhibitions and families are encouraged to explore throughout the whole museum. A great place to keep the kids busy for hours.

With a large range of plaster pieces for you to choose from, go along and enjoy creating your own masterpiece.

4. Daisy Hill Koala Centre

A nature reserve with plenty of lovely shaded spots, picnic tables and BBQ facilities, education centre with 2 movies, a viewing tower and multiple walking tracks.

5. Robelle Domain  –

Great venue for the kids – with an exciting water park, climbing area and oval or enjoy a coffee and baby chino at the cafe whilst watching the kids.

A massive expanse that has a colourful playground with an array of different climbing, sliding and bridge styles.  Allowing your kids to explore with freedom

7. Wynnum Kids Water Park  –

Playground is a great place for the kids to have some fun with the water park and wading pool. This park might just save your sanity. Located right next to Wynnum Jetty and the Wynnum Wading Pool.

One of the great places to take your family and friends is always a park, and the Rocks Riverside Park is one of the best. There are BBQ facilities and heaps of equipment for the kids, there is a climbing web, a flying fox, a basketball court, a sandpit, bike tracks and much more.
